The Truth That Sets You Free

Truth1. Acknowledging the truth is the first step in changing the world. Those who obfuscate and manipulate it are those who wish to enslave humanity.

I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” – Jesus in John 14:6

2. Jesus is the truth, and consequently at the heart of all moral truths. He is also love (1 John 4:8), therefore all truths must be spoken to others in love. Meaning, it is to be done without ulterior motive, having their best interest at heart, because by presenting the truth one seeks to expose the error of their ways, while hoping for their repentance.

“Speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ.” Ephesians 4:15

3. The beauty of moral truth is its ability to remain unchanged throughout the ages. Whatever was true yesterday is forcibly true today. It does not change according to man’s whims.

“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8: 32
