“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:9
There’s truly nothing new under the sun.
Things deemed new only have the trappings of novelty. A text message, for instance, is just a more efficient and quicker method than sending a note with a messenger pigeon, but its essence is not really new.
In other words, technology is nothing more than a manner of accomplishing a task that is usually as old as humanity itself.
